Hadleigh Art Trail 2017

The 7th Hadleigh Art Trail ran from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th September 2017.

Our partner venue Hadleigh Old Fire Station and its multi-use community space hosted a Showcase Exhibition in the Appliance Hall featuring work from local artists 10am – 4pm daily throughout the week.   Home to professional artists, photographers as well as heritage and community groups – HOFS is a vibrant community hub housed in this iconic building. Our Open Studios Weekend was 2nd & 3rd September

Visitors were encouraged to explore  Hadleigh’s other resources; including the 13th Century castle, famously sketched in oils by John Constable, the much earlier Grade 1 listed St James the Less church and ancient woodland.
Hadleigh Park has multi-user trails as a legacy asset from the 2012 Olympics and the family-friendly visitor hub offers exercise opportunities for all ages and unparalleled views of the estuary.
The “See, Hear” terminal was also on display in the Appliance Bay.

The Art Trail’s Twitter designation was @Hatrail and subjects included;  #HAT2017 #EssexSummerArt
