The Hewson Osborne Postcard Collection

About the extraordinary Hewson Osborne postcard collection.

Professional and Archive group scanning was combined during 2015 to achieve economical coverage and high standards to conserve the legacy of selected images from this extensive collection.
Images of interest to specific local South-East Essex areas were transferred to suitable media and presented to the relevant archives without charge.
E.g. Rochford and surrounding area relevant images are reached through here.    Images of Rochford Market Square will be familiar to anyone who visited, even in the 1950s.
Click this link  to redirect to Rochford District Community Archive's Newsflashes page - where the relevant paragraph on Hewson Osborne has a further link to the appropriate Google Drive.
A complimentary terabyte drive with a full set of images was presented to Hewson's relatives.
