The Hadleigh & Thundersley Community Archive are pleased to have available their new book ‘The Ancient Parish of Thundersley’ by Rev. E A Maley.

Including all 110 pages of Rev. Maley’s famous and rare 1937 book  with the  addition of a biography of the author as a new introduction by Robert Delderfield.

And the cover has a fine painting by David Henry Burles;  Image copyright: Southend Museum Service.

A limited number of copies of this facsimile edition (11.4 cm x 17.3 cm)  are available from Anns Mini Market in Daws Heath Road and Dans News in Hart Road.
