Castle Point, what it means to you

Survey open till 20th July 2025

Urgent Survey on a proposed Local Government Reorganisation

Here is the BBC report  on this subject, followed by a local survey link
BBC:   https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8j10vvjkjjo

The consultation / survey continues until 20th July and outlines the creation of five new unitary councils, each formed by neighbouring existing councils in Essex joining together.

What the survey covers:
There are boxes to tick and choices to make.   One tickable option is reported to enable us to encourage some priority towards local heritage and character.   Questions 10,  11  and 12 offer opportunities to describe in your own words what you see as unique attributes of Castle Point.

Whether it is the history, heritage, people, places or groups,  the activities or unique resources;  this may be your only chance to ensure your input is added to the larger reorganisation process.

Please help to preserve your key ideas on the survey by adding comments to this article for a lasting and independent  record.
