The Broadway (then) and the London Road (now)

Here we can compare the  “Then” (of the Broadway) with a “Now” of London Road on the Junction with Meadow Road*.  The “Now” photo was taken in February 2024.

Though we don’t yet have an exact date for the “Then” photo, we  know that the Public Hall was erected in 1912 by Mr. F. Malthouse in The Broadway (now London Road).  In the middle distance of the Then photo, we can see the Public Hall and something being built beyond it.
