THUNDERSLEY. PARISH COUNCIL. The members of Thundersley Parish Council met at the schools on Wednesday evening. Mr, W. H. Sheridan presided; others present being: Messrs. H. Newman, E. Corder, S. Shelley, James Grigg, Geo. Coney, and the Clerk Mr. F. T. Mapey.

A hearty vote of thanks was unanimously accorded Mr. Sheridan tor having paid the cost of part fencing Goose Green, erecting a swing and see saw, planting trees, and for providing entertainment for the school children.
A letter was received from Mr. B. Crannes on behalf of 20 children asking for goal-posts to be erected on the recreation ground. Mr. Sheridan agreed to make another gift to the children, and the Council thanked him for this another instance of his beneficence, and gave permission for the posts to be erected.

Mr. Sheridan also requested the Clerk to order 14 specimen lime trees at his expense and to have them planted on the ground.

Mr. Coney asked if the Clerk might find out the cost of getting a public telephone call office in the parish.
It was agreed that the Clerk should order one truck of coarse coke breeze to make up the paths.
